The inside hull has been epoxy tar protected for long term freedom from rusting. Many steel boats have been ‘home built’ and skimped on rust prevention thus causing a bad reputation for steel boats rusting away after a number of years. This one is a fine example of how a steel boat should be built and finished, and thus has many years of maintenance free.
